DESCRIPTION OF COORDINATOR
Adana Provincial Directorate of Food, Agriculture and Livestock is responsible for central administration of all aspects of agricultural production and rural development and it can be categorized into seven (7) different entities viz . Each of department has a different tasks as agriculture land evaluation, plant production and healthy, livestock production and healhty, rural development, safe food, data of agriculture and coordination etc. Our mission is,
-to ensure the sustainable use of agricultural and ecological resources
-to increase o standart of living in rural areas,
-to ensure access to safe food and high-quality agricultural products
to success of our objectivies:
-to organise training for farmers about information and developments of scientific or technological related all agricultural activities and production in our Adana.
-in all stages from production to consumption, to pursue, control of activities and to implement the legal procedures in agriculture, food and livestock.
- in all stages from production to consumption, to carry out the required works for determination of raising problem and it’s solution also to inform the higher authorities.
179 personnel work as engineer, technician, veterinary in The Provincial Directorate of Food, Agriculture and Livestock and 372 personnel work in 15 the district offices that is depend on The Provincial Directorate besides 160 consultant work for agriculture and livestock in villages throughout Adana.
The section of agricultural data is responsible for training and coordination. It caried out much Project in the different grant programs so far and all of them was ended successfully. It is experienced section to prepare and to carry out Project.

DESCRIPTION OF PARTNER
ETO was estabished in 1992 with the participation of producer, consumer, processor, trader, controller, researchers and technical staffagriculture in order to ensure rapid and healthy development of ecological (organic, biological) agriculture under an organizationin our country. Later year, The Branches offices of ETO were established in Izmir, Adana, Ankara, Istanbul, Canakkale and Istanbul in order to carry out a more effective its mission that the mission is to contribute to the development of organic agriculture in Turkey and ETO has undertaken it since the beginning. The Adana barnches of ETO is was established in 2008.
The aim of association is to introduce and to expand of ecological agriculture in our region;
- to organise and carry out all types activities as conferences, symposia, seminars, meetings, study visits and training in order to help improve the functional properties of people in the field of ecological agriculture who can be technical staff, manufacturer, processor, trader and consumer. to
- to cooperate with university, research instutions and other governmental and non-governmental institutions in field of ecological agriculture in order to activate and develop the activities of non-governmental organizations.
- to develop the strategies and policies of ecological agriculture and to transmit and give an advise to relevant person and institutions.
- to make the activity in order to supply the presantation of ecological production and to promote the consumption of ecological production about the sale of domestic and foreign market.
- to contact with authorized institutions and sector about implementations of laws and regulations on ecological agriculture, if asked, ETO support the works of authorized instutions and organization when reguired, it takes an active role.
- to carry out the partnership project with governmental and non-governmental organization about ecological agriculture in it’s region.

SUA is an educational and scientific institution whose main aim is to prepare university educated professionals for all areas of agro alimentary resort, drawing on scientific knowledge in agriculture and neighbouring areas, as well as on creative scientific research. Following national and generally human traditions, the SUA is a significant part of the Slovak Republic's academic and research institutions network.
The research and development projects carried out at the university are focused especially on the examination of biological, technical, economical and social phenomena and processes, ensuring better utilization of country’s biological potential, production of non-harmful foods and other needs of the population, respecting protection and creation of the environment. A significant role is also played by research project analyzing transformation processes in the society and regional development, on natural resources and their utilization and protection.
SUA is the only university in Slovakia dealing with agriculture and thus, has a unique opportunity for information gathering and dissemination activities through deferent media tools and by organizing workshops, conferences or seminars and trainings for farmers, including farmers in ecological agriculture. The teacher team will provide its own curriculum development on plant protection on ecological farming and develop new content. The participants are in the solution of important problems in the area of biological control of agricultural insect pests, plant pathogens and weeds. From previous Leonardo projects (Ecologica, Green Plant Protection) they have experience with web site layout, learning resource development on plant protection in organic farming systems, testing of e-learning content and conducting of e-learning courses with students and farmers.

In this project cooperate The Department for Agricultural Consultancy of KGZS, Kmetijsko gozdarski zavod Ljubljana, which permanently employs 45 agricultural consultants, including 8 consultant specialists, a coordinator for work with farming families and supplementary activities, 7 consultants for farming families and supplementary activities, and 29 field consultants.
In addition to activities prescribed by the Slovenian Ministry of Agriculture, such as implementing technological measures to increase the competitiveness of farms, we encourage the earning of supplementary and additional income on farms and other economic operators. We provide different levels of training and education for farmers in the areas of new technologies, economic and environmental aspects of farming, legislation (particularly relating to pension and health insurance), taxes and personal income tax related to subsidiary occupations, taxation on subsidies. Education and training is provided through lectures, courses, workshops, presentations, published instructions, articles and private consultation. We provide certification courses for national vocational qualifications, supplementary occupations and farm tourism. We provide certified training for the processing of fruit, vegetables, milk and meat.
One of the important tasks or needs in the field of agricultural advising is to promote organic farming. Number of organic farms in inceasing gradualy, but not in the expected range. Consumer demand for organc food growing. The policy document "Action Plan for Development of organic Farming in Slovenia" pointed out, inter alia, that the qualifications of consutants to work on the development of organic production (farms motivation, assistance in conversion to organic production, marketing assistance, etc...) is deficient. it stressed the need to increase the transfer of research results into practice and deepen cooperation in research, training and education in European level.
ITALY/ EUROPEAN ACADEMY FOR RURAL TERRITORIES HOSPITALITY

The European Academy for Rural Territories Hospitality (EARTH) was formed in Forlì, in May 2008. The aim of Earth Academy is to promote projects, initiatives and networks aimed at enhancing economic, social and cultural development of the rural areas of Europe. Members of the Academy are individuals and organizations involved in the process of valorisation of rural areas. Founding members of EARTH are those engaged in the valorisation of rural areas in different ways: from the organization and management of hospitality services in rural areas, to the conduction of studies and research on rural areas, to the design of services and management training for management tourist services in rural areas. Earth has in its young curriculum consultancy activities, studies and workshops in Italy, Bulgaria, Spain, Turkey. EARTH is increasingly becoming a focal point for initiatives aimed at enhancing rural areas by providing local communities with experience in organization and management of services for the tourist valorisation of rural areas, in creating marketing plans, management of plans for the development of rural areas, in planning and managing training services (including higher education) and training for the management of hospitality services in rural areas. Earth Academy will carry out the activities of the project with its own staff as planned:
- Fausto Faggioli: President of E.A.R.T.H. Academy, He was a promoter of the "Farm" Project that led to the "Farms Faggioli”. The choice was to activate a process linked to the valorisation of land and typical agricultural activities with the recovery of folk traditions. He has been a speaker in numerous conferences and seminars related to rural tourism. He is actively engaged in consortia, projects and different initiatives for the protection and valorisation of the national territory.
He collaborates with Gal and mountain communities, research institutes, universities, public and private training institutions.
- Luciano Donato Marino: Director of EARTH, For over a decade he is actively engaged in the setting of international cooperation relations in several European countries.
- Francesco di Bello: He was the designer, coordinator and director of numerous training courses on issues related to the management of environmental and cultural heritage in rural areas and to further learning and training activities that can be developped in rural areas.
